Um...You know...Stuff!
It's the end of another week, which means we look to gawker.com to make us feel better about the fact that we don't live in New York City. It is, after all, the ONLY reason I am glad I am not in New York right now.
It's time to laugh at the retarded hipsters and feel a bit guilty if you recognise a part of yourself in these people. That's right BLUE STATES LOSE time.
Other stuff I'm nerding out to today =
nme.com has the new Lily Allen video up. It's for LDN, which is one of the few Lily songs I like.
Australian Vogue has a run down of the recent 'industry only' fashion week. Mad Cortes (pictured) is pretty good. A lot of designers pulled out as organisers bought the shows forward by 2 whole weeks. It's usually a preview of next years' winter collection but people like Karen Walker, Josh Goot and Toni Maticevski have decided to show in New York instead. And Alice McCall in London. Lucky them, I guess.
Something else that caught my eye this week...Seems that Pete Doherty and Mike Skinner make quite the pair of self-proclaimed poets on this collaboration. Check out The Streets myspace page to hear it. It's called "Prangin' Out". Ah, Indeed.
And looky here, yet another dude who makes me feel like a massive under-achiever...Mayor at 26. But then again, I am a massive under-achiever
VMA wrap..."Fergie Is A Man"....Yeah, tell me something I don't know.
